I love minimalism in all its forms: in music, visually and even in human behavior. The principle of minimalism allows you to concentrate, clear your mind and to cast aside burdensome things. Small things can carry big feelings and it is possible to express oneself at the bottom of a cup of coffee.
I found a lot of lovely minimalist gifts at the Lithuanian Etsy team crafters. I think Lithuanians have innate sensation of minimalism.
I truly believe that small surprises with everyday things are better then big gift once year.
